Thankfully, the snow has stopped falling, but blowing and drifting snow are keeping us at work on the City’s streets. And, with the cold temperatures and severe wind chills in the forecast, we are taking extra steps to help Clevelanders stay safe and warm.
We encourage everyone to stay indoors as much as possible to avoid the effects of the severe cold. When the temperature and wind chills are in below zero territory, frostbite can set in quickly. Roads: A minimum of 35 snow crews are working the main streets and secondary routes today to improve road conditions. The crews that report for second shift late afternoon will return to the residential streets. Please move cars off of residential streets to allow plows curb-to-curb access.
