Linemen head to Nebraska for 10th Annual Lineworkers’ Rodeo

For the third year, Cleveland Public Power will be represented in the annual American Public Power Association (APPA) Lineworkers Rodeo to be held in Omaha, Nebraska March 26-27th.

According to APPA the Rodeo is “the foremost showcase of public lineworker skill and knowledge. At the Rodeo, journeymen and apprentice lineworkers can compete for professional recognition, attend training courses and practice essential skills in a safe environment.”

This past Saturday, a Rally was held to give the CPP Lineworkers a proper send off, as well as an opportunity for the men to proudly show their skills for family and co-workers.

We at CPP would like to wish our team – Steve Holland, Scott Simmerly, Jim Malay, Cardell Moore, Bill Reddy, Davey Morales, Joe Wilson, Chuck Bremer, Jeff Bremer and Raymond Matias safe travels and much success at the Rodeo! We’ll be rooting from afar!
